Our first and the most important project right now, in which we invest all our time & energy, are community gardens.
Because the Foundation WE has its seat in Sopot (Tricity, Poland) we want to build the amazing community gardens here in our neighbourhood (however we`re not saying "no" to other locations :)).
There`s a lot information on our website describing :
- what exactly is (or isn`t) the community garden
- where this idea came from (that is why we wanna do it)
- where on the map of Tricity we want to place our gardens
- what`s our vision and what we`d like to avoid
Of course there`s no chance to miss the reports informing about our successes and failures, cause - even though we plan to start this spring - the whole project has already consumed the big amount of time & energy.
Right now we`re at the stage of agreeing the project with the city and fundraising... and we move on! 🙂
WHAT IS A COMMUNITY GARDEN ?
Green space, which we organize and grow together.
A friendly space for everyone - to make the gardening dreams come true just for the sake of having fun with other people.
The center of warm & hearty meetings, inspiring workshops and uber-interesting activities.
A PLACE TO SHARE THE GOOD ENERGY
Gardens will be taken care of by us - the Foundation WE and by friends, sympathizers, supporters, sponsors and above all enthusiasts and hobbyists of... working in the ground 🙂
We would like to invite all who wish to co-create such a garden with us - neighbours & strangers, all generations & all cultures...

All ugly, unkempt, unfriendly places can be turned into the vibrant social gardens.
We have an eye on a couple of places with great potential, but it is not a closed list.
